Not only were parts scarce and expensive, but just about everyone had a good reason to stay home and play video games all day. During this time, we saw a massive growth in nearly all facets of online experiences; be it gaming, streaming, digital creation, and so much more. With so much going on and so many people now looking to get involved online in a big way, we had a hefty task on our hands here at CLX. We’ve always put the customer first, as we are our very own customers. To us gaming isn’t simply a targeted genre of entertainment to try and mesh ourselves with, it is a lifestyle. But what does that mean for those out there looking at CLX as their PC company of choice? On June 6th, 2021, PC Invasion posted a <a href='https://www.pcinvasion.com/clx-gaming-pc-ra-review/' data-mce-href='https://www.pcinvasion.com/clx-gaming-pc-ra-review/'>review</a> of our CLX Ra PC, and said system was of their own design. Using our custom configurator, they chose the parts they wanted, designed the look and feel they were aiming for, and sent it. With a quick (and stealthy) peek at our customer support for good measure, everything went great. If you want the full recap, I recommend you check their review out, as Kevin Foley gives a solid explanation of the experience both good and bad. So surely that’s it, right? We’ve had a great review! Keep making that system and we’re good to go! Well, the truth is for us great is not enough. Call it try hard if you want, but constantly pushing to do better is in our blood and better is what we’ve done. The Phanteks Evolv X chassis is a direct upgrade to the Phanteks Evolv used in our 2021 generation of Ra systems, offering better airflow and space without sacrificing aesthetics. In addition to this the system now runs a 500GB Seagate M.2 SSD for the operating system and a 2TB Samsung 870 for games and storage rather than the 860, improving speed and performance. The real ticket however is that this system as of writing is $2,682 USD, nearly $750 cheaper than the 2021 model.
