Fortunately, the world more or less collectively agreed that they were done with that, and we moved on. Festivals and events came back in a big way, and as one of the few PC builders out there to not only survive the pandemic but exceed expectations, we had a big year ahead of us planned for 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>So, about those events. Most folks may not know this, but we attribute a lot of CLX’s early lifetime to our success with gaming events and festivals. Sure, we don’t create the events, but we power them, and in a big way. Many time we’ve seen successful activations from Europe, Asia, etc, try to make their way to NA and fail. The reality is we just do things differently here, what folks like changes from region to region and it took us stepping in and adapting and creating new activities at North American events to reign this in. With almost 2 years of no events, a return to form was a worrying prospect at the start of 2022. Would people attend after all this time? Were folks we worked with still in their positions? Did the festivals even survive financially over the past two years?<br><br>Well; safe to say we were astonished at this year’s event and festival turnout. With CLX PCs powering over 20+ shows this year including big events such as DreamHack, Twitch Con, PAX, LA Comic Con, and many more we were blown away. This year’s reception was incredible, and powering festivals has always been a place of pride for us, a way we give back to the community by offering gaming experiences with no strings attached. We also include a place for streamers to be able to attend and continue working, giving them the opportunity to meet fans, sponsors, and network all while enjoying their favorite festivals.</p><p>We have big, exciting things in store for events in 2023 with a potential for over 60+ events powered by CLX.</p><p>But of course, events aren’t all we do as a system integrator. In our field we are a very young company, a branch started in just 2016 and so every year to keep up and surpass our competition we must continue to innovate and develop. This year saw the return of a new and refreshed Anubis, our premium lightweight and portable gaming Laptop, redesigned to meet the modern gamer and users’ standards. On the desktop side we updated all our systems to include new components from big names such as Intel, Nvidia, and AMD. With 13<sup>th</sup> gen Intel CPUs and ARC GPUs, AMD Zen4 CPUs and Radeon 7000 GPUS, and Nvidia 4000 Series GPUs all dropping within a short span of one another, it was a big task to make it all work in such a short time.</p><p><br></p><p>Then we looked at what we like to consider one of this year’s biggest innovations in the custom PC market; the CLX Hathor. Hathor is our newest line of desktop PCs and unlike the others it’s first designation is not specifically for gaming, but creation. If you’re unfamiliar with Hathor here’s a quick explanation; Hathor is 2 PCs inside one chassis, we accomplish this by using an Intel NUC Compute card as a secondary PC and connect the two directly via PCIe. This allows streamers and creators alike to run games or editing software on the primary system and use the NUC to handle encoding or the like. Still fresh off of it’s launch we’re looking forward to what folks do with Hathor, and how we can continue to improve on it.</p><p><br></p><p>This is just some of what we accomplished in 2022, and we only plan to do things bigger and better for 2023.
